"NIGEL MANSELL
World champion Nigel Mansell will celebrating his first formula one title today at home in the Isle of man. Mansell dashed back last night joining a party sparing the glory with his daughter on her birthday. Mansell claim the title after only eleven races. He finished second in the Hungarian Grand Prix to claim the points needed, but only after his team – made Ricardo Patrese had withdraw from race.
In the early days of the Nigel Mansell´s motoracing career he had to sell his house to buy a car. Things are a little different now. After 30 years in the business Mansell is the top of the world. He dashed back from Hungary where he climbed his first formula one title to fing Douglas airport packed with his fans welcoming home the new world champion."
