"Should I speak about this topic- family life, daily chores and housing- I’d start with my family in general, then I will say something about my daily chores and finally I will tell you something about housing in the Czech Republic, the UK and the USA.
I live in a block of flats in a housing estate called Máj in the town of České Budějovice. I live there with my mother, her partner and 2 sisters. Sisters are 22 and 19 years old. I have one older brother too, but he doesn’t live with us anymore. He is 24 years old and he lives in Prague with his girlfriend. I think, that I come from a quite large family.
In addition, I’d like to say something about my relationship with family members. I have quite good relationship with my mother, but I have to say, that’s we are almost the same character, so we sometimes argue. Should I speak about my relations with my siblings, I’d say, that I have really good relationship with both my sisters. We have many things in common and we are close in age, so it’s rather easy to get on well with them. As for my brother, I don’t spend much time with him, because he comes from Prague a few times a year.
Regarding my daily chores, I have to do some of the housework. I have some regular housework, such as sweeping in the kitchen, because we don’t have carpet, and then cleaning the bathroom. We take turns in this two houseworks, so one week I have to do sweeping, the following one I have to do cleaning bathroom. Then I have to do some more housework, such as washing dishes, dusting, wiping in common areas and so. I must admit that I hate housework and I try always to avoid them."
